Check out my ongoing development of University and Careers information on my google site
https://sites.google.com/site/mrmunglespastoral/ I´ll be updating this over the course of the next academic year, and developing contacts with other IB Counsellors and of course our ex students at their Uni placements.
More to come!!!

1.1 English Language Requirements
ReplyDeleteDear Students,
The UK (and the English Speaking world) and the Netherlands often require you to have English Proficiency (You can prove that you can use the English language in an Academic Context)
Sometimes but not always proof from your IB DP English Language course is enough, but often you will need to complete one of the following tests if you are not British Resident and/or applying from outside the EU. NB: Medicine OFTEN requires you have either the IELTS or Pearson test, up to date so register in D1 if you are going in this direction.
IELTS
Pearson Academic Tests
TOEFL
Uni frog application could be a great way forward as part of our carer programme.
ReplyDeleteAs a follow up class careers.co.uk would also be a great forum for sis students
